## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JULY 11, 2022, THE PILOT IN COMMAND (PIC) OF ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ DEPARTED HEBER CITY MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (36U) IN VMC CONDITIONS. THE AIRCRAFT HEADED EAST INTO THE UINTA-WASATCH CACHE NATIONAL FOREST AREA WITH INTENT TO STOCK MOUNTAIN LAKES WITH FISH. AFTER DISPENSING FOUR OF THE SIX CHAMBERS, THE PIC PROCEEDED TO BROWN DUCK MOUNTAIN FOR THE FIFTH DISPERSAL. THEY ENTERED THE WESTERN BOX CANYON FROM THE WEST INTENDING TO TEST THE AIR PRIOR TO DISPERSAL. THE PIC DESCENDED IN A HARD RIGHT HAND BANK ALONG THE NORTHWESTERN SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN CAUSING THEM TO LOSE AIRSPEED/ALTITUDE. THE STALL INDICATOR ACTIVATED SO THE PIC ADVANCED THE THROTTLE; HOWEVER, AIRCRAFT ALTITUDE WAS TOO LOW. IT IMPACTED A TREE ALONG THE RIGHT SIDE CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER, RIGHT ENGINE COWLING, ENGINE EXHAUST, RIGHT WING STRUT, AND RIGHT HORIZONTAL STABALIZER. THE PIC WAS ABLE TO RECOVER AND RETURNED TO 36U UNEVENTFULLY. ADSB DATA DOES NOT SHOW THE FLIGHT PATH DUE TO A LACK OF TOWERS IN/AROUND THAT AREA. COUNSELING RECOMMENDED

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
