## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^OPERATING A BOEING 737-824 AS^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, WAS ON A SCHEDULED FLIGHT FROM KANSAS CITY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, KANSAS CITY MI (MCI) TO DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, DENVER, CO (DEN). INITIAL REPORT, AIRCRAFT TAXI TO GATE AND BEGAN DEPLANING PASSENGERS. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ RAMP SERVICES REPORTED SMOKE FROM RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR; FIRE WAS LOCATED IN THE RIGHT HAND WHEEL WELL ABOVE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR. FLIGHT CREW INITIATED EMERGENCY EVACUATION TO EXPEDITE PASSENGERS IN REAR OF AIRCRAFT. DOORS 2L & 2R WERE USED FOR EMERGENCY EGRESS. From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
