## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

CLEARED TO LAND RWY 27 WITH WINDS 09008 DUE TO A MASS ARRIVAL OF BONANZAS RWY 36. MAIN WHEEL LANDING WAS NORMAL BUT BEFORE HE COULD COMPLETE THE LANDING, THE TOWER INSTRUCTED HIM TO QUICKLY EXIT THE RUNWAY DUE TO TRAFFIC APPROACHING HIM QUICKLY. THE PILOT LOWERED THE TAIL AND THE AIRCRAFT GROUND LOOPED CAUSING SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE LEFT WING AND LOWER AILERON.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN22LA338](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN22LA338), Jul 23, 2022: Waco Classic YMF-5C (N140W), Oshkosh, WI, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain directional control during the landing roll with a tailwind.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
