## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 7/24/2022 AT APPROXIMATELY 1700 CST AFTER LANDING AT OSHKOSH, WISCONSIN DURING EAA AIRVENTURE, A CESSNA 180 ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS TAXIING ON RUNWAY 36L TO PARKING AND EXPERIENCED A GUST OF WIND LIFTING THE AIRCRAFT UP ON ITS RIGHT WING TIP AND BACK DOWN AGAIN. THE RIGHT WINGTIP, RIGHT ELEVATOR AND RIGHT WHEEL PANT MADE CONTACT WITH THE RUNWAY. THE WHEEL PANT WAS CRACKED, THE RIGHT WINGTIP AND ELEVATOR SUSTAINED SCRATCHES FROM THE CONTACT. THE WINDS WERE REPORTED AT 280 DEGREES AT 16 GUSTING TO 28 KNOTS AT THE TIME OF THIS EVENT. THE PILOT CONTINUED TO TAXI TO PARKING AND EXITED THE AIRCRAFT WITH NO REPORTED INJURIES. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME OF THIS INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
