CENTRAL STANDARD TIME, THE CREW REPORTED A CRACKED WINDSHIELD WHILE INSIDE OF ZTL AIRSPACE. THEY CONTINUED TO THEIR INTENDED DESTINATION.

THE CREW STATED THAT WHILE IN CRUISE FLIGHT AT FLIGHT LEVEL FOUR THREE ZERO (FL430) AND AT MACH POINT EIGHT TWO (.82), THE CO-PILOTS? WINDSHIELD SHATTERED. THE CREW ACCOMPLISHED QUICK REFERENCE HANDBOOK EMERGENCY PROCEDURES AND DESCENDED TO FLIGHT LEVEL TWO ZERO ZERO (FL200). From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
