## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JULY 30, 2022, MISHAP AIRCRAFT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ SUFFERED POWER FLUCTUATIONS / ENGINE ROUGHNESS DURING CLIMB OUT IMMEDIATELY AFTER TAKE OFF. MISHAP PILOT ABORTED TAKEOFF AND PERFORMED AN EMERGENCY LANDING, STRAIGHT AHEAD. THE MISHAP AIRCRAFT CONTINUED PAST THE DEPARTURE END OF THE RUNWAY, MAKING A RUNWAY EXCURSION, COMING TO REST IN A FIELD APPROXIMATELY 100 YARDS FROM THE DEPARTURE END OF THE RUNWAY, AND APPROXIMATELY 30 FEET BELOW THE LEVEL OF THE AIRPORT PROPERTY, AND IN A DIRECTION RELATIVE TO THE CENTERLINE OF THE DEPARTED RUNWAY. THE MISHAP PILOT AND STUDENT REPORTED NO INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
