## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT TOOK OFF AND PILOT RAISED GEAR HANDLE. GEAR DID NOT LOCK UP. GEAR HANDLE WAS CYCLE UP SEVERAL TIMES BUT WOULD NOT LOCK UP. PILOT DECIDED TO LAND AND HAVE ISSUE TROUBLESHOOT ON GROUND. PILOT PLACE GEAR HANDLE IN DOWN POSITION. GEAR WOULD NOT LOCK DOWN AND NO GREEN LIGHT INDICATION. TOWER VERIFIED LEFT GEAR WAS HANGING AT AN ANGLE. PILOT REMAINED IN THE PATTERN FOR SEVERAL CIRCUITS, CYCLING THE GEAR AND USING THE MANUAL HAND PUMP BUT LEFT GEAR WOULD NOT LOCK DOWN. PILOT MADE THE DECISION TO LAND. FIRE CREW SET UP ON RUNWAY. AIRCRAFT LANDED AND LEFT GEAR COLLAPSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
