## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS SOLE OCCUPANT CONDUCTING LOCAL PERSONAL FLIGHT. ON APPROACH TO RUNWAY 24 PILOT SELECTED GEAR DOWN AND NOTED THAT THE GREEN DOWNLOCK LIGHT ILLUMINATED WITHOUT THE CHARACTERISTIC CLUNK. THE PILOT LOOKED OUT THE SIDE WINDOW AND NOTED THAT LANDING GEAR EXTENSION WAS INCOMPLETE. ATTEMPTS TO EXTEND THE GEAR USING NORMAL AND EMERGENCY SYSTEMS WERE UNSUCCESSFUL. NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED ON ROLLOUT, MAIN GEAR SUPPORTED THE AIRCRAFT. PILOT EXITED AIRCRAFT WITHOUT INJURY. AIRCRAFT DAMAGE WAS NOT SUBSTANTIAL WITHIN THE DEFINITION IN 49 CFR 830.2.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
