## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 8/22/2022 @ KAPA, AT APPROXIMATELY 13:35 LOCAL, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ A LR-35 AIRCRAFT ATTEMPTED TO LAND ON RWY 17L. THIS WAS A CFR135 FLIGHT WITH FOUR PERSONS ON BOARD, TWO PILOTS AND TWO PASSENGERS. REVIEW OF THE AIRPORT VIDEO FOOTAGE SHOWS ON INITIAL APPROACH AND TOUCHDOWN, THE AIRCRAFT WAS LATE TO FLARE, LANDING HARD ON THE MAIN LANDING GEAR ON CENTERLINE. THE AIRCRAFT THEN BOUNCED ONCE, LANDING ON RIGHT MAIN GEAR, IN A RIGHT WING LOW, NOSE HIGH ATTITUDE. AS THE AIRCRAFT TRAVELED RIGHT OF CENTERLINE TOWARDS THE GRASS THE LOW WING CONDITION WAS CORRECTED BUT STILL NOSE HIGH ATTITUDE. THE RUNWAY AND AIRCRAFT AFT FUSELAGE SHOWED SIGNS OF CONTACT (SCRAPPING).

THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED OFF THE RUNWAY SURFACE INTO THE GRASS UNTIL IT ENCOUNTERED A PERPENDICULAR TAXIWAY CAUSING IT TO GO AIRBORNE BRIEFLY. WHILE AIRBORNE, THE AIRCRAFT YAWS LEFT IN A LEFT WING LOW, NOSE HIGH ATTITUDE BACK TOWARDS THE RUNWAY. THE LEFT WING TIP TANK IMPACTS THE GROUND. AFTER THE GROUND IMPACT, THE AIRCRAFT SETTLES ON BOTH MAINS AND NOSE GEAR IN THE DIRECTION OF THE RUNWAY. AIRCRAFT EXITS THE GRASS ON TO THE RUNWAY. ENTIRE SEQUENCE OF EVENTS TAKES 23 SECONDS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
