## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT STATED UPON LANDING HE WAS HIGHER AND THE AIRSPEED WAS FASTER THAN A NORMAL APPROACH AND LANDING SO HE ADJUSTED HIS TOUCHDOWN POINT ON THE RUNWAY. ON TOUCHDOWN, THE AIRCRAFT SKIPPED AND PROCEEDED TO BOUNCE. THE AIRCRAFT WENT LEFT AND THEN PROCEEDED TO DO A SHARP LEFT TURN. THE PILOT TRIED TO COUNTERACT IT WITH OPPISITE RIGHT RUDDER AND IT WAS NOT ENOUGH TO KEEP THE AIRCRAFT ON THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT CAME INTO CONTACT WITH A RUNWAY/TAXIWAY SIGN CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE LEADING EDGE OF THE LEFT WING. ALONG WITH THE TRAILING EDGE OF THE LEFT FLAP. THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR ALSO WAS DAMAGED AS WELL.

Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
