## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

On 18 September 2022 about 1830 Local time, the pilot attempted a departure from a small lake at N57.52.20, W155.49.45. Approximately 64 miles South East of King Salmon, Alaska. After loading two passengers, and cargo the pilot taxied to the southwest end of the lake for a easterly departure with a turn to the north due to the wind coming from the east. Pilot stated the “planned departure was to get on step into the wind, once on step execute a step turn left to align with the longest area of lake.” After departing the water and climbing the right wing rose abruptly and the pilot lowered the nose and rolled back to wings level. The pilot then realized he was too close to the north shoreline and attempted to climb the airplane. The airplane impacted terrain on the north shore and came to rest on the right side. Pilot assisted passengers in evacuation then exited the aircraft.
