## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS TAXIING TO THE RUNWAY AND THERE WERE CONSTRUCTION VEHICLES ON BOTH SIDES OF THE TAXIWAY. THE PILOT DEPARTED THE CENTERLINE OF THE TAXIWAY WHILE TRYING TO AVOID A TRUCK OFF OF HIS LEFT. THE RIGHT WINGTIP OF THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK A TRUCK ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE TAXIWAY CAUSING SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN23LA015](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN23LA015), Oct 13, 2022: Beech B-60 (N2889W), Ardmore, OK, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot did not ensure adequate clearance from construction vehicles during taxi.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
