ON HIS SECOND LANDING, THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED SEVERAL TIMES, VEERED OFF THE RUNWAY, STRUCK A RUNWAY LIGHT, WENT OFF AN EMBANKMENT AND CAME TO REST OVERTURNED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE MOUNT/FIREWALL, WINGS, FUSELAGE, VERTICAL/HORIZONTAL STABILIZER AND LANDING GEAR.

GO-PRO VIDEO PROVIDED BY THE PILOT SHOWED A HARD LANDING FOLLOWED BY SEVERAL BOUNCES. AS THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED, IT VEERED OFF THE PAVED SURFACE. WHILE DEPARTING THE EMBANKMENT THE PILOT PULLED BACK ON THE YOKE CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO GLIDE UNTIL THE STALL HORN SOUNDED. THE AIRCRAFT IMPACTED A DRAINAGE DITCH AND OVERTURNED.
