## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER SEVERAL TOUCH AND GO AND FULL STOP LANDINGS THE CFI AND STUDENT PILOT (PRIVATE PILOT) WERE GOING TO TAKE OFF FROM IYS FOR THE FINAL TIME THIS DAY AND RETURN TO MRI. THE STUDENT WAS WORKING ON HER 10 HOURS OF COMPLEX AIRCRAFT REQUIREMENT FOR THE COMMERCIAL SINGLE ENGINE RATING. THE BRIEFED PLAN WAS TO DEPART IYS ON RUNWAY 4. APPROXIAMETLEY 20 KNOTS BEFORE ROTATION SPEED THE STUDENT PILOT MOVED THE LANDING GEAR HANDLE TO THE UP POSITION. THE AIRCRAFT IMMEDIATELY SETTLED ONTO THE RUNWAY AND SKIDDED TO A HALT. BOTH EXITED THE AIRCRAFT WITH NO INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
