## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 11/06/2022 AT 8:52PM CDT. A SOCATA TBM700 ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ HIT A FLOCK OF BIRDS DURING CLIMB OUT, DURING A PERSONAL RELOCATION FLIGHT. VMC CONDITIONS PREVAILED, AND AN IFR FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED RIGHT AND LEFT-WING LEADING-EDGE DAMAGE CAUSING A FUEL LEAK ON THE RIGHT WING, AND THE PILOT WAS UNINJURED. THE PILOT HOLDS A COMMERCIAL CERTIFICATE. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED AT FSD ON 11/06/2022 AT 8:52PM CDT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
