## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 20 NOV 2022 AT ABOUT 1939 LOCAL TIME, THE AIRCRAFT NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED DURING LANDING AT LIVERMORE AIRPORT (LVK). TWO (2) PILOTS, CONDUCTING DUAL FLIGHT INSTRUCTIONS, WERE ON BOARD THE AIRCRAFT. AFTER TWO (2) SUCCESSFUL LANDINGS, PILOT NOTICED A PROBLEM WITH THE LANDING GEAR DURING TAKE OFF FOR FINAL LANDING. LANDING GEAR DID NOT RETRACT SECONDS AFTER MOVING THE CONTROL LEVER TO THE UP POSITION. PILOT RECYCLED THE GEAR FOUR (4) TIMES BUT STILL DID NOT GET A GEAR INDICATION. PILOT REQUESTED LVK TOWER TO CHECK IF ALL THE LANDING GEARS WERE DOWN WHILE ON LOW APPROACH TO RUNWAY 07L. TOWER ANSWERED IN THE AFFIRMATIVE. TAKING ANOTHER LAP IN THE TRAFFIC PATTERN AND AFTER GETTING CONFIRMATION FROM TOWER THAT ALL THREE (3) GEARS APPEARED TO BE DOWN, PILOT LANDED THE AIRCRAFT. UPON TOUCHDOWN, THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED AND FELL BACK INTO THE WHEEL WELL. AIRCRAFT SKIDDED FOR ABOUT THIRTY (30) FEET BEFORE COMING TO A HALT. NO INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED BY THE PILOTS ONBOARD. NOSE GEAR DOOR AND RADOME WERE DAMAGED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
