## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT WAS CLEARED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 17R AT KCOS, ON TOUCH DOWN THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED. THE AIPLANE SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES.

THIS INVESTIGATION FOUND SERVICE BULLETIN SB078-0722, ISSUED BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ON 10/31/2022. THE SERVICE BULLETIN ADDRESSES AN ISSUE OF ABNORMAL WEAR IN THE SCISSOR LINK OVER-CENTER PIVOT JOINTS AND ASSOCIATED BRONZE BUSHINGS, CAUSING A POTENTIAL RETRACTION OF THE NOSE GEAR UPON TOUCHDOWN.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
