As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

12/13/2022 - PIC ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^STATED THAT HE STARTED BOTH ENGINES OF A CONQUEST AIRCRAFT WITH THE INTENT OF FLYING TO TEXAS TO REPOSITION THE AIRCRAFT PRIOR TO A 135 FLIGHT. PRIOR TO TAXI HE STATED THAT HE REALIZED THE TIRE CHOCKS WERE NOT REMOVED. PIC STATED THAT HE DID NOT SHUT DOWN EITHER ENGINE, SET THE PARKING BRAKE, AND EXITED THE AIRCRAFT TO REMOVE THE CHOCKS. PIC STATED WHEN HE REMOVED THE CHOCKS, THE AIRCRAFT STARTED MOVING AND HE STATED HE HAD TO GET OUT OF THE WAY, AND THAT HE COULD NOT STOP THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT HIT A HANGAR DOOR AND STOPPED, BUT THE ENGINES WERE STILL RUNNING. PIC STATED THAT HE ENTERED THE AIRPLANE VIA THE DOORSTEPS AND SHUT DOWN THE ENGINES.

## NTSB investigation

None matched to this report by aircraft and date. Search the NTSB's own records: https://data.ntsb.gov/carol-main-public/basic-search

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
