## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON DECEMBER 16, 2022, AT APPROXIMATELY 1230 PST, PIC WAS LANDING THE AIRCRAFT FOR A FULL STOP ON RUNWAY 16 AT RENTON MUNICIPLE AIRPORT (KRNT). PIC STATED THAT AT LANDING ROLLOUT, HE NOTICED A TAILWIND. THE AIRCRAFT STARTED TO TURN RIGHT ON THE RUNWAY. THE PIC GAVE LEFT RUDDER INPUT TO CORRECT COURSE AND THE AIRCRAFT OVERCORRECTED LEFT OF CENTERLINE. PIC GAVE RIGHT RUDDER INPUT TO ATTEMPT TO CORRECT AIRCRAFT'S COURSE ON TO CENTERLINE. THE AIRCRAFT RAPIDLY ROTATED TO THE RIGHT ON THE RUNWAY, CAUSING A GROUP LOOP THAT RESULTED IN THE LEFT WING TIP HITTING THE GROUND. AIRCRAFT SPUN AROUND AND CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP. INCIDENT RESULTED IN MINOR DAMAGE TO THE LEFT WHEEL AND LEFT WING TIP. NO INJURIES REPORTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
