## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON DECEMBER 21, 2022 ON A FLIGHT FROM KFRG TO KRYY, THE RIGHTSIDE (CO-PILOT'S) WINDSHIELD OUTER PANE RUPTURED. DURING PREFLIGHT, NO ABNORMALITIES WERE NOTED. THERE WAS SOME DELAMINATION NOTED ON THE CO-PILOTS WINDSHIELD, IT WAS INSPECTED BY MAINTENANCE AND DEEMED AIRWORTHY. THROUGHOUT THE FLIGHT THE DELAMINATION HAD PROGRESSIVELY GOTTEN WORSE AND EVENTUALLY THE OUTER PANE LET LOOSE. AIRCREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND DIVERTED TO KGSP AND LANDED SAFELY WITH NO FURTHER ISSUES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
