## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ DEPARTED LIVERMORE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT ON RUNWAY 7 FOR THE PATTERN. SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF THE PILOT REPORTED THAT HIS DOOR HAD POPPED OPEN OFF DEPARTURE AND ADVISED THAT HE WOULD COME BACK. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ STARTED TO DESCEND AND ATC ADVISED HIM MULTIPLE TIMES TO CLIMB. THERE WAS NO RESPONSE AND THE PILOT CRASHED ½ MILE OFF DEPARTURE END. THE AIRCRAFT SLAMMED INTO A CONCRETE BLOCK STORAGE FACILITY AND THE PILOT WAS EXTRICATED AND TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL.
