## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THIS INCIDENT INVOLVED AN ON DEMAND PART 135 CARGO OPERATOR, USING A CESSNA 402. AT SPOKANE FELTS FIELD, AT APPROXIMATELY 0400, THE PILOT PERFORMED HIS PREFLIGHT INSPECTION AND LOADING OF THE AIRCRAFT INSIDE A HANGAR AT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^. THE FBO STAFF PULLED THE AIRCRAFT OUT OF THE HANGAR. THE PILOT ENTERED THE AIRCRAFT, STARTED THE ENGINES AND BEGAN HIS TAXI ON THE RAMP. THE PILOT STATED THAT MOMENTS AFTER HE STARTED TO TAXI, HE SAW THE OTHER AIRCRAFT (CIRRUS SR22) ON THE RAMP AND ATTEMPTED TO BRAKE BUT WAS UNABLE TO PREVENT A COLLISION. THE LEFT PROPELLER OF THE CESSNA STRUCK THE ENGINE COWL OF THE SR22. THE PILOT STATED THAT THE AIRPORT RAMP WAS NOT WELL LIT AND THAT HE WAS TAXIING ONLY WITH HIS TAXI LIGHT. THE PILOT STATED THAT THE TAXI LIGHTS DID NOT PROVIDE ENOUGH LIGHT AND THAT HE NOW USES THE LANDING LIGHT DURING TAXI AS WELL. MINOR DAMAGE TO THE CESSNA 402, NO INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System.
