## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT REPORTED THAT AFTER TOUCH DOWN ON RUNWAY 32 AT SRQ, THE PILOT OPTED TO DECELERATE GENTLY WITH NO BRAKES AND GRADUAL PREFORMED APPLICATION OF BETA (REVERSE THRUST). PILOT IMMEDIATLEY NOTICED THE LEFT WING WAS SITTING LOWER THAT THE RIGHT WING. THE ROLLOUT FELT AND SOUNDED A LITTLE ROUGHER THAN NORMAL. THE PILOT DECIDED IT WAS TIME TO BRING THE AIRCRAFT TO A STOP. THE PILOT WAS CONCERNED THAT THE LEFT MAIN GEAR MIGHT HAVE PARTIALLY COLLAPSED. THE PILOT APPLIED MORE BETA AND STARTED TO GENTLY APPLY THE BRAKES. ONCE SPEED WAS BELOW 60KTS, THE PILOT ENGAGED NOSE-WHEEL STEERING. AS THE AIRCRAFT SLOWED TO A STOP, THE PILOT MOVED THE THROTTLES FROM BETA TO IDLE AND PUT THE PROPS IN GROUND IDLE. ACCORDING TO THE PILOT, AT SOME POINT THE TOWER TOLD US THAT WE WERE “THROWING SPARKS FROM THE LEFT SIDE.” AND THE FIRE TRUCKS HAD FOLLOWED THEM. AFTER THE PILOT SHUT THE ENGINES DOWN, THE FIRE DEPARTMENT SPRAYED THE LEFT GEAR AND WHEN CLEARED, THE CREW EXITED THE AIRCRAFT. THE NOSE WAS ON CENTERLINE, AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS STOPPED JUST PRIOR TO A3 TAXIWAY. THE LEFT GEAR WAS EXTENDED AND INTACT, BUT THE TIRE HAD BLOWN AND THE ONE THIRD OF THE RIM HAD GROUND OFF.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
