## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT STATEMENT:

AFTER A STABLE APPROACH AND NORMAL SOFT LANDING ON THE CENTERLINE OF THE RUNWAY, I HELD THE NOSE WHEEL OFF UNTIL IT SETTLED AND BEGAN TO APPLY THE BRAKES. AS SOON AS BRAKES WERE APPLIED, THE PLANE BEGAN TO PULL LEFT SO I APPLIED RIGHT RUDDER AND MORE RIGHT BRAKING BUT IT WAS NOT ENOUGH TO STAY ON THE RUNWAY. AT THIS POINT I WAS CONCERNED THAT WE WERE ON ICE AND SLIDING, THERE WAS NO SOUND OF GRINDING OR INDICATION OF A FLAT TIRE. I WAS APPROACHING A TAXIWAY A3, WE WERE TOO FAST TO TRY AND MAKE THE TURN, I WAS FEARFUL THAT IF I OVER CORRECTED THAT I COULD INDUCE A SLIDE TO THE RIGHT AND HIT THE TAXIWAY SIGN SO I CHOSE TO STEER BETWEEN THE TAXIWAY LIGHTS AND HEAD FOR THE GRASS, STILL UNAWARE OF THE FLAT TIRE. WE CAME TO A STOP APPROXIMATELY 25 FEET INTO THE GRASS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
