## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

2023-01-08 ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WENT OFF LEFT SIDE OF RUNWAY DURING LANDING AND STRUCK SNOWBANK, 2 ON BOARD NO INJURIES AND MINOR DAMAGE. CFI WAS IN THE RIGHT SEAT PROVIDING TRAINING FOR TAILWHEEL ENDORSEMENT AND INSURANCE CHECKOUT. AFTER TOUCHING DOWN AIRCRAFT MADE AN ABRUPT TURN TO THE LEFT. THE CFI APPLIED FULL RIGHT RUDDER BUT THE AIRCRAFT IS NOT EQUIPPED WITH BRAKES ON THE RIGHT SIDE AND WAS UNABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL WITH JUST THE RUDDER. THE LEFT MAIN TIRE HIT THE SNOWBANK CAUSING THE TAIL TO RISE AND PROPELLER TO STRIKE THE GROUND. PROPELLER SHOWED DAMAGE CONSISTENT WITH A PROPELLER STRIKE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
