## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE CESSNA 195 TAIL DRAGGER MADE A 3-POINT LANDING ON RUNWAY 26 AT CXL AIRPORT. THE WIND WAS ABOUT 6 MPH FROM A NORTH/NORTHEAST DIRECTION. AFTER TOUCHDOWN, WHILE ROLLING AT APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH DOWN THE RUNWAY, THE PILOT REPORTED A SUDDEN WIND GUST FROM THE NORTH THAT MADE THE PLANE TURN TO THE RIGHT. THE PILOT APPLIED FULL THROTTLE IN AN ATTEMPT TO GO AROUND BUT THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED THE GROUND LOOP CYCLE AND THE PILOT REDUCED POWER TO IDLE. THE PILOT REPORTED A 270-DEGREE GROUND LOOP ROTATION. THE PILOT AND HIS TWO PASSENGERS WERE UNINJURED IN THE EVENT. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE. CXL AIRPORT WEATHER HAD NO REPORTED WIND GUSTS ON THE DAY OF THE ACCIDENT.
