ON JANUARY 21, 2023, THE PILOT OF UAS, REGISTRATION NUMBER: ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, WAS CONDUCTING A ROOF SURVEY FOR SOLAR PANEL INSTALLATION. AFTER THE UAS COMPLETED AN AUTONOMIUS PANORAMIC FLIGHT, THE DRONE WAS RETURNING TO IT'S PROGRAMED LAUNCH SITE. THE DRONE OVERSHOT THE LANDING SITE AND IMPACTED A TREE THEN FELL APPROX 30 FEET ONTO THE HOOD OF A PARKED VEHICLE UNDER THE TREE CAUSING A MINOR PAINT SCRACH ON THE HOOD. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE DRONE. UA MAKE, MODEL, AND SERIAL NUMBER: DJI, MAVIC PRO 2, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^. THE REMOTE PILOT CERTIFICATE NUMBER IS: ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.
