## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JANURARY 28, 2023, AT 1030 CST, A RV-3 AIRCRAFT BEARING ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, MADE A HARD LANDING. UPON TOUCHDOWN, IT BOUNCE AND BECAME UNCONTROLLABLE. BOUNCED A COUPLE OF TIME, WENT OUT OFF THE RUNWAY 20 AND BECAME UPSIDEDOWN AT ANDREWS COUNTY AIRPORT IN ANDREWS, TX. THE AIRCRAFT WAS BEING OPERATED ON A PERSONAL FLIGHT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME, AND NO FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE, AND THE PILOT SUSTAINED MINOR INJURIES. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM MIDLAND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN MIDLAND, TX ON JANURARY 28, 2023 AT 1000 CST.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
