## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON FEBRUARY 7, 2023 AT 1442 LOCAL TIME, A PIPER PA28R-201, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ S/N 28R-7837245 LANDED ON RUNWAY 24 AT HUDSON VALLEY REGIONAL AIRPORT (KPOU). THE PILOT WAS INSTRUCTED BY LOCAL CONTROLLER TO TURN LEFT ONTO RUNWAY 33. THE PILOT LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT AND INADVERTENTLY TURNED OFF THE RUNWAY AND ONTO THE GRASS. THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED AND WAS ABLE TO TAXI ONTO TAXIWAY ALPHA AND TO THE TERMINAL. THE PILOT REPORTED NO INJURIES OR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND DID NOT REQUIRE ANY ASSISTANCE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
