## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON FEBRUARY 21, 2023, AT ABOUT 2155 UTC A STUDENT PILOT ON SOLO FLIGHT STALLED THE AIRCAFT AT ABOUT 5 FEET ABOVE THE GROUND WHILE ATTEMPTING TO LAND ON RUNWAY 27 AT RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT. THE HARD LANDING CAUSED THE NOSE WHEEL TO BREAK OFF CAUSING FURTHER DAMAGE TO THE NOSE WHEEL STRUT, PROPELLOR BLADES AND ENGINE MOUNT. NO MALFUNCTIONS OF THE AIRCRAFT WERE DISCOVERED. WEATHER WAS NOT A FACTOR. THERE WERE NO INJURIES INVOLVED AND ONLY MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. AN UPDATE WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE SAS AND ATQA DOCUMENTS IF REQUIRED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
