## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

BEFORE FLIGHT, FLIGHT DECK CREW BRIEFED A "BUMPY" RIDE. FAS PERFORMED MODIFIED SERVICE WHEN ABLE. APPROXIMATELY 20-30 MINUTES PRIOR TO INITIAL DESCENT, FLIGHT DECK MADE CALL TO FAS THAT IT WAS SAFE TO GET UP. AFTER 3-5 MINUTES, AIRCRAFT HIT UNEXPECTED TURBULENCE THROWING THE AFT FA IN THE AIR. SHE FELL BACK DOWN AND TWISTED HER ANKLE. MINOR INJURY TO THE FA. THE FWD ASSISTED GETTING THE AFT INTO HER JUMPSEAT WHERE SHE STAYED UNTIL WHEELED OUT OF THE AIRCRAFT AND TRANSPORTED TO AN AMBULENCE TO BE TREATED AT THE ER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
