## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

STATEMENT OF EVENT:

PILOT STATEMENT: HERE IS A STATEMENT OF WHAT OCCURRED ON MARCH 7, 2023 AT APPROXIMATELY 12:30 PM.

I TOOK OFF HEADING TO PICKENS AIRPORT. ON THE DOWN WIND SIDE OF RW 23 AT ALTITUDE OF ABOUT 1700 FEET, I LOST ALL ELECTRICAL POWER. I DECIDED TO HEAD BACK TO RW 23 TO LAND. I DROPPED MY FLAPS AND HEADED TO RW 23. THERE WERE 2 OTHER PLANES IN THE PATTERN. SO, WITH NO COMMUNICATION, I WAS WATCHING FOR THE TRAFFIC. WHEN I KNEW I HAD THE FIELD MADE, I BELLY LANDED THE PLANE. I WAS SO CONSCIENTIOUS OF THE OTHER PLANES, THAT I FORGOT TO PULL THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION. THERE WAS MINIMAL DAMAGE TO THE PLANE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
