ON MARCH 20, 2023, AT APPROXIMATELY 1609 EST, (A CESSNA 182H) LEFT WING IMPACTED THE EMPENNAGE OF A TIED DOWN CESSNA 150 WHILE TRYING TO PARK ON THE RAMP AT GOOSE CREEK AIRPORT (NC28A) IN INDIAN TRAIL, NC. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. DAMAGE WAS INCURRED ON BOTH AIRCRAFT. THE CESSNA 182 IS REGISTERED TO AND WAS PILOTED BY THE ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^. THE AIRCRAFT WAS BEING OPERATED UNDER PART 91 WITH NO PASSENGERS ON BOARD.

THE CESSNA 182 HAD JUST COMPLETED ITS FLIGHT AND WAS TAXING BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL PARKING SPOT ON THE RAMP. WHILE TRYING TO MANEUVER HIS AIRCRAFT BETWEEN TWO PARKED PLANES, THE 182'S LEFT WING STRUCK THE PARKED C150. ## Other aircraft in the event

- N5765G, Cessna 150K: no report for this aircraft; [N5765G](https://openairdocs.org/aircraft/N5765G) is registered now

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
