## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED FROM CLEBURNE REGIONAL AIRPORT AT APPROXIMATELY 0705 LOCAL ON MARCH 24, 2023. AS THE AIRCRAFT CLIMBED THROUGH 400 FT AGL THE AIRCRAFT ENCOUNTERED MODERATE TURBULENCE AND THE PIC RECEIVED THE "DOOR OPEN" MASTER CAUTION AND AN "ACC" LIGHT INDICATING THE BAGGAGE DOOR WAS OPEN. APPROXIMATELY 30 SECONDS LATER, A LOUD BANG WAS HEARD BY THE PIC. NO ABNORMAL FLIGHT CHARACTERISTICS OR VIBRATIONS WERE OBSERVED BY THE PIC. THE WEATHER DID NOT ALLOW FOR THE AIRCRAFT TO RETURN TO CLEBURNE REGIONAL AIRPORT. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED AT ADDISON AIRPORT WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. AFTER LANDING THE CREW REPORTED THE BAGGAGE DOOR WAS NO LONGER ATTACHED TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
