## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 04/08/2023 N3778X, A COMMANDER 100, WAS LANDING ON RWY 25 AT KORL WHEN DURING THE LANDING ROLL THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED AND THE FORK BECAME SEPERATED FROM THE NOSE GEAR STRUT. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP SUPPORTED BY THE MAIN GEAR TIRES AND THE NOSE RESTING ON THE EXPOSED NOSE GEAR STRUT ASSEMBLY. THE PROP EXPERIENCED A POWER ON STRIKE WITH THE RUNWAY AND NO MAJOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRFRAME WAS NOTED. THERE WAS NO INJURIES TO THE THREE SOULS ONBOARD.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
