## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON APRIL 12, 2023 AT APPROXIMATELY 12:15 LOCAL TIME THE AIRCRAFT WAS PERFORMING LANDINGS AT MMU WITH AN INSTRUCTOR AND STUDENT ONBOARD. THE INSTRUCTOR STATED THAT THEY "LANDED A LITTLE HARD". IT APPEARS THAT THE NOSE GEAR STRUCK FIRST DURING THE LANDING, SUBSEQUENTLY THE NOSE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED AND THE PROPELLER STRUCK THE GROUND. NO ONE WAS INJURED AND THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE. THE INDIVIDUAL RECEIVING INSTRUCTION DOES NOT HOLD A STUDENT CERTIFICATE OR A MEDICAL CERTIFICATE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
