## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 4/14/2023, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS ON SHORT FINAL INTO KBMG RUNWAY 35, A SMALL BIRD FLEW RIGHT TO LEFT GLANCING THE FRONT OF THE RADOME JUST PRIOR TO TOUCHDOWN. THE FLIGHT WAS COMPLETED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. UPON POST FLIGHT INSPECTION, BLOOD AND FEATHERS WERE FOUND ALONG WITH A SMALL CRACK IN THE RADOME. THE BIRD WAS LOCATED AND RECOVERED ON THE RUNWAY AND A WILDLIFE STRIKE REPORT WAS FILLED OUT WITH THE TOWER. THE CONDITIONS ON THE FIELD WERE VFR WITH LIGHT WINDS. NO ABNORMAL FLIGHT CONDITIONS EXISTED. IMPACT ALTITUDE WAS LESS THAN 50FT AND SPEED WAS ROUGHLY 115 KNOTS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
