## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 04/18/2023 A PA-30 WAS LANDING AT KSGJ WHEN THE PILOT BECAME DISTRACTED DURING THE APPROACH PHASE OF THE FLIGHT DUE TO ATC REQUESTING THE PILOT TO DO A 360 DEGREE TURN WHILE ON FINAL AND VEHICLES THAT HE THOUGHT HE SAW ON THE RUNWAY THRESHOLD. WHEN CLEARED TO LAND THE PILOT DID NOT PERFORM HIS LANDING CHECKLIST WHICH RESULTED IN THE LANDING GEAR NOT BEING LOWERED PRIOR TO LANDING. THIS RESULTED IN A GEAR UP LANDING ON RWY 31 AT KSGJ. NO INJURIED WERE REPORTED AS A RESULT OF THIS ACCIDENT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
