## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE TAXIING FOR DEPARTURE, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS CONTACTED BY BGR GROUND CONTROL WITH THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTION:

“WE’RE GOING TO HAVE YOU BACK TAXI ON THE RUNWAY. RUNWAY 33, TAXI VIA ALPHA, CORRECTION, TAXI VIA KILO.”

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ UNDERSTOOD THE INSTRUCTION AS A CLEARANCE TO BACK TAXI RUNWAY 33 AND READ BACK THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTION:

“RUNWAY 33 VIA KILO THEN BACK TAXI 33.”

BGR GROUND CONTROL DID NOT INTEND TO ISSUE A BACK TAXI CLEARANCE AND FAILED TO CORRECT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ READ BACK. SUBSEQUENTLY, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^BACK TAXIED RUNWAY 33 AND WAS ISSUED A BRASHER WARNING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
