## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON APRIL 20, 2023, THE INCIDENT AIRCRAFT OPERATED IN REVENUE SERVICE FROM HOUSTON GEORGE BUSH INTERCONTINENTAL AIRPORT (IAH) TO LAREDO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (LRD). ENROUTE TO LRD AT AN ALTITUDE OF 12,000 FEET, THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED A BIRD STRIKE APPROXIMATELY 20 MILES NORTH EAST OF CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (CRP). THE FLIGHT CREW OBSERVED NO ABNORMAL ENGINE INDICATIONS OR CONTROLLABILITY ISSUES AND CONTINUED TO LRD LANDING UNEVENTFULLY AT 1300 CDT. INCIDENT AIRCRAFT DID NOT DECLARE AN EMERGENCY WITH LRD. UPON ARRIVAL AT THE GATE, POST FLIGHT INSPECTION BY THE FLIGHT CREW REVEALED BIRD STRIKE DAMAGE TO #1 AND #2 ENGINES AS WELL AS TWO DENTS ON THE LEFT HAND FUSELAGE BELOW WINDOWS #4 AND #5. MAINTENANCE WAS CONTACTED AND REMOVED THE AIRCRAFT FROM SERVICE FOR FURTHER EVALUATION AND REPAIRS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
