## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DEPARTED FROM WOODLAND AIRPORT (W27) AROUND 1900 HRS TO MOVE PLANE TO FRIENDS FIELD ADJACENT TO HOUSE. PRIOR TO LANDING AIRMAN WAS ABLE TO WALK AND INSPECT THE LANDING AREA. HE FLEW A PASS OVER THE LANDING AREA AT AROUND 1930 HRS AND ENTERED A RIGHT PATTERN TO SET UP FOR LANDING. ACCORDING TO THE AIRMAN UPON LANDING HE HIT AN UNEXPECTED BUMP WITH THE TAIL WHICH CAUSED IT TO LOFT IN THE AIR. THIS, ALONG WITH BRAKING, THE TALLISH GRASS AND AN EXTREMELY LIGHT AIRCRAFT CAUSED THE PLANE TO NOSE OVER AND LAND ON ITS BACK. NO DAMAGE WAS DONE TO THE FIELD.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
