## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AN AIRCRAFT WAS STRUCK BY A BIRD ON THE LEFT WING LEADING EDGE WHILE ON APPROACH TO LEFT BASE RUNWAY 17 AT THE STILLWATER REGIONAL AIRPORT. THE BIRD STRIKE CAUSED A 3 INCH VERTICAL CRACK AT LBL 61.5, SECONDARY BOND DAMAGE BETWEEN LBL 50 AND LBL 75, AND A 3 INCH VERTICAL CRACK BETWEEN LBL 59 AND LBL 61 WHICH IS CONSIDERED AT THIS TIME MINOR DAMAGE. THE CERTIFICATE HOLDER IS CURRENTLY AWAITING DISPOSITION FROM THE MANUFACTURER TO PERFORM REPAIRS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
