## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS TOLD BY THE TOWER TO EXIT RUNWAY 1R AND REVERSE HIGH SPEED AT LAS VEGAS, NEVADA AIRPORT AT NIGHT. PILOT WAS UNABLE TO MAKE THE REVERSE HIGH SPEED DUE TO THE SHORT TURN TO EXIT THE RUNWAY. WHEN HE EXITED THE RUNWAY, IT WAS BETWEEN TAXI WAY V AND S, ON A HARD SURFACED APRON WHICH IS A NON-TAXI MOVEMENT AREA. THE PILOT STOPPED AND INFORMED THE TOWER THAT HE HAD A RUNWAY EXCURSION ON A NON-TAXI MOVEMENT AREA. THE TOWER TOLD THE PILOT TO TAXI AND REJOIN THE TAXIWAY TO THE RAMP. THE PILOT RETURNED TO THE TAXIWAY THEN PROCEEDED TO FIELD BASE OFFICE WITHOUT ISSUE. THERE WAS NO INJURIES OR DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS INSPECTED BY MAINTENANCE AND RETURNED TO SERVICE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
