## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THIS FLIGHT WAS PART OF A FERRY FLIGHT FOR PERSONAL USE. THE PILOT WAS FLYING WITH AN INSTRUCTOR AND LANDED AT SPOKANE FELTS FIELD PRIOR TO FLYING TO COEUR D'ALENE (KCOE). THE PILOT HAD FLOWN WITH THIS INSTRUCTOR FOR APPROXIMATELY 22 HOURS AND THE INCIDENT FLIGHT WAS HIS FIRST WITHOUT THE INSTRUCTOR. PRIOR TO THIS LANDING THE PILOT HAD BEEN LANDING ON GRASS RUNWAYS. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE HAD THE PITCH CONTROL SET TO A 3-POINT LANDING ATTITUDE BUT MAY HAVE HAD MORE SPACE AVAILABLE TO BRING THE CONTROL STICK BACK FURTHER. ON RUNWAY 24 AT KCOE, THE PILOT STATED THAT THE WHEELS GRIPPED THE RUNWAY WELL, AND THAT IT WAS POSSIBLE THAT HE DID NOT HAVE ADEQUATE RUDDER INPUTS, RESULTING IN A GROUND LOOP WITH A WINGTIP AND AILERON STRIKE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
