## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON MAY 19, 2023, ABOUT 1410 LOCAL TIME, THE PIC WAS TAXIING DOWN THE RUNWAY AT DUTCH HARBOR AIRPORT (UNALASKA) FOR TAKEOFF. DURING THE 180-DEGREE TURN ON THE RUNWAY, THE PIC NOTICED THE LEFT ENGINE STARTING TO RUN ROUGH AND THEN IT QUIT. THE PIC WAS NOT ABLE TO TURN THE AIRCRAFT AROUND AND COULD NOT TAXI BACK TO THE HANGAR DUE TO ASYMMETRICAL THRUST ISSUES. THE PIC THEN SHUT DOWN ON THE RUNWAY. MAINTENANCE TOWED THE AIRCRAFT BACK TO THE HANGAR FOR INSPECTION. UPON INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE FOUND SEVERAL ISSUES WITH THE LEFT-HAND ENGINE’S FUEL AND IGNITION SYSTEMS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
