## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

BEFORE DEPARTING THE AIRPORT (29S) THE PILOT COMPLETED A "TOUCH AND GO LANDING" THEN PROCEEDED ON AN APPROXIMATELY 2 HOUR FLIGHT. UPON RETURN TO THE AIRPORT (29S), THE PILOT STATED THAT THE APPROACH TO LANDING AND TOUCHDOWN WERE NORMAL, AT A SPEED LESS THAN 10 KNOTS, HOWEVER, IMMEDIATELY AFTER TOUCHDOWN THE AIRCRAFT MADE AN ABRUPT RIGHT TURN APPROXIMATELY 30-45 DEGREES FROM LANDING/RWY HEADING AND VEERED OFF THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT STATED THAT PEDAL INPUTS DID NOT SEEM TO CORRECT OR COUNTER THE HEADING CHANGE. THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED OFF THE RUNWAY AND ROLLED ONTO IT'S RIGHT SIDE DAMAGING THE MAIN ROTOR, PROPELLER, RIGHT SIDE FAIRINGS AND MAIN ROTOR MAST. THE PILOT SUSTAINED NO INJURIES, NO OTHER PERSONS ON BOARD.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

Probable cause: Failure of the rudder/nosewheel steering system for reasons that could not be determined, which resulted in loss of yaw control and a subsequent rollover.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
