## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT DEPARTED KUES (WAUKESHA, WI) AIRPORT FOR KETB (WEST BEND, WI) AIRPORT TO PRACTICE TOUCH AND GO LANDINGS AT KETB. THE PILOT HAD ENTERED THE PATTERN FOR KETB FOR TOUCH AND GO LANDING RUNWAY 13. SHORTLY AFTER TOUCHDOWN RUNWAY 13 THE PILOT PROCEEDED TO RETRACT THE FLAPS. UNKNOWINGLY, THE PILOT ACCIDENTALLY REACHED FOR THE LANDING GEAR SELECTOR INSTEAD OF THE INTENDED FLAP HANDLE AND INADVERTENTLY RAISED THE GEAR INSTEAD OF THE FLAPS. THE RESULT ACTION CAUSED THE GEAR TO RETRACT WHILE APPROACHING ROTATIONAL SPEED. THE AIRCRAFT THEN PROCEEDED TO SLIDE WITH GEAR PARTIALLY RETRACTED CAUSING DAMAGE TO GEAR DOORS, ANTENNAS, PROPS, AND UNDERSIDE ALUMINUM SKIN COVERINGS. AIRCRAFT THEN CAME TO REST ON RUNWAY 13 AT THE INTERSECTION OF BOTH RUNWAY 13 AND 6 ON A HEADING OF APPROXIMATELY 180 DEGREES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
