## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT REPORTED: FLEW THE PATTERN ONE TIME TO TEST RADIOS. LANDING GEAR WAS NOT SELECTED UP DURING ANY PHASE OF THE FLIGHT. AFTER A NORMAL LANDING WHILE THE AIRPLANE WAS SLOWING DOWN, PILOT DECIDED TO DO ANOTHER FLIGHT OVER THE PATTERN AND HE SELECTED GEAR HANDLE INSTEAD OF THE FLAP SELECTOR. AFTER THE GEAR HORN SOUNDED, HE QUICKLY SELECTED GEAR DOWN. HE REACHED OVER THE FLAP SELECTOR AND SELECTED TAKE OFF FLAP CONFIGURATION, APPLIED POWER FOR TAKEOFF WHEN THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED STRIKING THE PROP ON THE GROUND COMING TO A FULL STOP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
