## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE ENROUTE FROM KCDC TO KBTF THE AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED SURGING ENGINES WITH MOST ERRATIC FLUCTUATIONS ON THE LEFT ENGINE. AS A RESULT OF THE ERRATIC ENGINE RPM FLUCTUATIONS THE PILOT ADJUSTED MIXTURE AND THROTTLE CONTROL. ONCE REASONABLE ENGINE CONTROL WAS ATTAINED THE PILOT ELECTED TO LAND AT THE NEAREST AIRPORT, NEPHI UTAH AIRPORT (U14). DURING LANDING TOUCH DOWN BOTH ENGINES SURGED JUST PRIOR TO TOUCHDOWN RESULTING IN YAW OSCILLATIONS AND LOSS OF CONTROL. THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY RESULTING IN RIGHT MAIN GEAR SEPARATION AND RIGHT PROP DAMAGE AS THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDED TO STOP.
