## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON SUNDAY JUNE 11TH, 2023 AT APPROXIMATELY 10:25PM LOCAL , A PILOT ATTEMPTED A REPOSITIONING FLIGHT FROM SOFTUK BAR (APPROX LOCATION 60.12' 15" N 144.38' 26" W) TO CORDOVA. DURING THE TAXI

FOR TAKEOFF PHASE THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED INTO THE SAND AFTER ROLLING OVER A PIECE OF FIREWOOD. THE AIRCRAFTS SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO THE NOSE GEAR, BELLY POD, ENGINE AND PROPELLER. PILOT STATED THAT THERE WERE NO KNOWN PRE-EXISTING MECHANICAL ISSUES WITH THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
